Historical Meets Sustainability

Originally built in 1871, this classic SF Victorian was remodeled to fit the family's needs prioritizing green building.

Vision

To thoughtfully reimagine a Victorian-era residence in a way that honors its original character while preparing it for the future. At the heart of the renovation is a respect for the warmth, craftsmanship, and proportion that define the home’s period details—preserving the elements that give it a sense of history and familiarity.

Visually, the design embraces a contemporary interpretation of the past—retaining the richness of the Victorian era while introducing cleaner lines, refined materials, and a more open relationship between spaces. The result is a home that feels both rooted and forward-looking: a place where history is not simply preserved, but evolved into a living environment that reflects modern values while maintaining the enduring spirit of its original design.
