Nestled in the heart of Noe Valley, this 1800 era cottage underwent a transformation to suit the contemporary lifestyles of two busy professionals.

Vision

Originally a one bedroom, one bath dwelling, it lacked the privacy and space essential for every day living. Through innovative thinking, we devised a two bedroom, two bath layout within the existing tight footprint. One effective element included the addition of a snug 3' x 9' full bath seamlessly integrated into the second room where a closet once existed, complemented by an open loft designed for yoga with a push-out skylight for fresh air. On the main level, folding doors expanded the interior, while the kitchen received a sleek upgrade with the latest modern finishes meant for easy maintenance.
